1. Introduction
These Terms of Service govern your use of Linkmify.
When you use the Linkmify website, web app, or Chrome extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
"Linkmify", "we", "us", and "our" means Alejandro Paladines, an individual based in Guayaquil, Ecuador, who operates the Linkmify platform.
"Service" means the Linkmify website, web application, Chrome extension, and related features.
"User", "you", and "your" means the person or entity using the Service.
"Account" means your registered Linkmify account used to access the Service.
"Content" means text, links, drafts, posts, selections, and other material you choose to save, create, or store through the Service.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, and able to enter into a binding contract, to use the Service.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.
4. Account and registration
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating and maintaining your Account.
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your Account.
If you believe your Account has been compromised, please contact us as soon as possible.
We may suspend or restrict access if we detect misuse, security risks, or a violation of these Terms.
5. License and restrictions
Subject to these Terms, Linkmify grants you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal or professional use.
You may not use the Service to abuse systems, send spam, gain unauthorized access, interfere with normal operation, reverse engineer protected components, or violate applicable law.
You may not use the Service in ways that infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other legal rights of any person or organization.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to create, upload, store, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, misleading, fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.
You may not use the Service to send spam, to publish misleading or automated mass content, or to harass anyone. When you publish through Linkmify, you must also follow LinkedIn's terms and policies.
You may not use the Service to copy other people's posts and present them as your own. Inspiration is meant to reuse the structure of a post with your own story, not someone else's words.
You may not attempt to bypass technical limits or plan limits (for example, by creating several accounts), share or resell access to your Account, test for vulnerabilities without permission, or use the Service to distribute malware or malicious code.
You may not impersonate others, misrepresent affiliation, or engage in conduct that harms users, third parties, or Linkmify.
7. User content and ownership
You retain ownership of the Content you save or create through Linkmify. As between you and Linkmify, the drafts and edits Linkmify writes for you are part of your Content.
You grant Linkmify a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce and display your Content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Service for you. This includes sending the relevant text to our AI providers to write drafts and edits, and sending a post to LinkedIn when you publish or schedule it. The license ends when you delete the Content or your Account, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time or where the law requires us to keep them.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to upload, save, process, and share your Content through the Service.
We do not review your Content before it is processed, but we may remove Content or restrict access to it if it violates these Terms or the law.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Linkmify without any obligation to you.
8. AI features
Linkmify uses AI providers to write drafts and edits from what you give us (see our Privacy Policy).
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to other content, and drafts may contain errors or details that are not true. Linkmify asks you questions so that drafts use your own story, but you must review every draft, including facts, names, numbers and quotes, before you publish or use it. AI output is not professional advice (legal, financial, medical or other).
You remain responsible for the posts you publish, including through Linkmify, and for making sure they are accurate and that you have the right to publish them.
9. Use of the Chrome extension
The Linkmify Chrome extension is part of the Service and is subject to these Terms.
The extension operates only in response to actions you initiate, such as capturing the page you are on or saving text you selected. It does not monitor your browsing activity and does not collect page content passively or in the background. Our Privacy Policy explains each permission it uses.
You may use the extension only for lawful personal or professional purposes.
You may not use the extension for abusive automation, unauthorized scraping, or other misuse of websites, platforms or third-party services.
10. LinkedIn and scheduled publishing
Connecting LinkedIn is optional. When you connect it, you authorize Linkmify to publish to your LinkedIn profile the posts you choose: when you press “Post now”, or at the date and time you schedule. Publishing from Linkmify is available on plans that include it (currently Starter). Linkmify does not publish anything you did not publish or schedule.
A scheduled post is published at the time you chose, without any further action from you. Until then you can edit it, move it or cancel the schedule. If, at that time, LinkedIn is not connected, your LinkedIn connection has expired, or your plan no longer includes automatic publishing, the post is not published and stays in Linkmify marked as not published. If LinkedIn is temporarily unavailable, we retry for a limited time (no later than one hour after the scheduled time); after that, the post is not published.
Your use of LinkedIn is subject to LinkedIn's own terms and policies. We are not responsible for LinkedIn's availability, for changes LinkedIn makes to its service, or for actions LinkedIn takes on your account or your posts.
11. Third-party services
The Service works with services run by other companies, such as LinkedIn (sign-in and publishing), the Chrome Web Store (where you install the extension), Lemon Squeezy (checkout and billing) and our AI providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability or the changes they make. A change by a third party may require us to change or remove a feature of the Service.
12. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Linkmify offers a free plan and a paid plan, Starter. The plans, their limits and their prices are described on our pricing page. The free plan does not require payment or a credit card.
Starter is billed in advance, either monthly or yearly, as you choose at checkout, and renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, sells the subscription to you as the Merchant of Record: it processes your payment, issues your receipts and handles applicable taxes. By starting a subscription, you authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge the applicable fee for each billing period until you cancel.
Prices shown on our pricing page include applicable taxes (such as VAT or sales tax). The amount you see at checkout is the total you pay.
You can cancel at any time from your account or by writing to support@linkmify.com. When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again. When that period ends, your account returns to the free plan and its limits.
Refunds, including our 7-day money-back guarantee on your first payment, are covered in section 13.
Prices may change over time. If we change the price of a plan you are subscribed to, we will give you reasonable notice before the change takes effect, and the new price applies from your next billing period.
13. Refunds and 7-day money-back guarantee
7-day money-back guarantee. If Starter is not right for you, you can ask for a refund of your first payment for Starter within 7 days of that payment, whether you chose monthly or yearly billing.
How to ask for it. Email support@linkmify.com from the email address of your Linkmify account within those 7 days. We review each request and issue the refund through Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record, to the payment method you used. Your bank or card issuer may take a few business days to show it.
What happens next. When the refund is issued, your Starter subscription is cancelled and your account returns to the free plan and its limits.
After the 7 days. The guarantee covers only your first payment for Starter. Renewals and later payments are not refundable, including for unused parts of a billing period. Instead, you can cancel at any time and keep Starter until the end of the period you already paid for (section 12).
Charged in error. If you were charged in error or have another billing concern, write to support@linkmify.com and we will review it in good faith.
These rules apply except where the law gives you more rights.
14. Suspension, termination and account closure
You may stop using the Service at any time. To close and delete your Account, write to privacy@linkmify.com; our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data.
We may suspend or restrict your access, or close your Account, if you violate these Terms, if your use creates a legal or security risk or harms other users, third parties or Linkmify, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the issue; in serious cases, such as security threats, fraud or illegal content, we may act immediately.
After closure or termination, your Account will be disabled and your data will be processed for deletion according to our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.
Sections that by their nature should continue after termination (such as ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) remain in effect.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided on an as‑is and as‑available basis.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linkmify disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error‑free operation, or specific outcomes from using the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Linkmify is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or loss of goodwill.
Our total liability for claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to Linkmify for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or a reasonable minimum amount where required by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country.
16. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
If changes are significant, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service, by email, or by other appropriate means.
If you continue using the Service after the updated Terms take effect, you accept the revised Terms.
17. Governing law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ecuador, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If a dispute arises, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve it in good faith through direct communication, starting with an email to support@linkmify.com.
If it is not resolved, the dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Guayaquil, Ecuador.
Consumers. This section does not deprive you, as a consumer, of the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, including any right those laws give you to bring a claim before the courts where you live.
18. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Linkmify about the Service.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right at once, we do not give it up.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, and we will tell you if we do.
- Electronic communications. You agree that we may send you notices about your account and these Terms by email or in the Service.
