Save ideas the moment you find them.
Capture a page, or just the passage you select, into your Collections, then start a draft from what you saved.

How it works
- 1
Capture the page
Open a collection in the extension and press Capture page content. The page's text is saved there.
- 2
Or save just a passage
Select text on a page, right-click and choose Add selection. Then open a collection in the extension and save your selections.
- 3
Start a post from it
In Linkmify, open Collections and press Use in a post on what you saved. Your draft starts from it.
Save just the passage you need.
Select text on any page, right-click and add it with Linkmify. It waits in the extension until you save it to a collection.
Open it in Linkmify when you're ready to write.
From the extension's menu, open the collection in your dashboard. What you saved is at the top, one click from a new post.
What it can access
Only what it needs, and only when you ask. These are the permissions it requests from Chrome, and what each one is for.
It doesn't run on the pages you visit and has no access to any site until you press a button.
The tab you're on, when you act
When you press Capture page content or choose Add selection, it reads the text of that tab and saves it to your Linkmify account.
One right-click item
Adds Add selection to the menu when you select text.
Storage on your computer
Keeps you signed in and remembers the collection you're saving to and the selections you haven't saved yet.
Notifications
Tells you when you've signed in with LinkedIn, or when a capture didn't work.
Sign in with LinkedIn
Opens LinkedIn's sign-in window if you choose Continue with LinkedIn.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. The extension is free on the Chrome Web Store. You need a Linkmify account, and the free plan works: it includes 2 collections with up to 10 saved items each.
Which browsers does it work in?
Google Chrome on desktop. You install it from the Chrome Web Store.
Does it read my pages in the background?
No. It has no access to the sites you visit. It reads a page only when you press Capture page content, and only the text you selected when you choose Add selection.
How much can one capture hold?
Up to 10,000 characters on Free and 30,000 characters on Starter. Longer pages are cut to your limit, and the extension tells you when that happens.
