Cookie policy

Last updated: October 31, 2026

This page explains, in plain words, what Linkmify stores on your device when you visit our website (linkmify.com), who stores it, why, for how long, and how to change your choice.

1. Cookies and local storage

Cookies and local storage are small pieces of information that a website saves in your browser, so it can remember something the next time you visit. On this page, “stored” means either of them.

2. What we store

Linkmify stores a few preferences so the website works the way you set it. PostHog stores analytics data only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner.

We don't use advertising cookies, and no third-party cookie is set before you accept.

3. Analytics with PostHog

PostHog is the analytics service we use to understand which pages and features of the website are useful. It loads only after you accept, and only on linkmify.com. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, it doesn't load at all. Our Privacy Policy describes what PostHog collects. PostHog processes this data for us in the United States.

4. How to change your choice

Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page of our website to open the banner again and choose “Accept” or “Reject”. If you reject after accepting, we turn PostHog off and remove its cookies and storage from this browser.

You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you do, the website will ask for your choice again.

5. The Linkmify app and the Chrome extension

The web app (app.linkmify.com) uses only what it needs to work: a secure sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in, and local storage for your preferences. Sign-up includes a bot check by Cloudflare Turnstile. The app and the Chrome extension don't use analytics or advertising cookies. The extension keeps your sign-in and unsaved selections in Chrome's storage for the extension (see our Privacy Policy).

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when we add or change something we store. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where the law requires it, ask for your choice again.

7. Contact

Linkmify is operated by Alejandro Paladines, an individual based in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
